A huge amount of work goes on off the pitch to ensure that our players are well prepared for the battles that they will face on it.
A crucial member of our backroom team is Mike Drew who has for years provided a Sports Massage service to the squad. Mike was selected by the Newport RFC management to receive this years award of ‘Clubman of the Season’ and was presented with a brand new shield for this accolade on Sunday by our Honorary secretary Dennis Bennett.
